The Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, in collaboration with UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund), has initiated the establishment of "Green Clubs" at college levels. These clubs aim to promote environmental consciousness, with a particular focus on water conservation, across 13 districts of Maharashtra. In line with this initiative, Govindlal Kanhaiyalal Joshi (Night) Commerce College, Latur, proudly inaugurated its Green Club on 14/08/2023. The club is dedicated to organizing various activities centered around water conservation, waste management, and energy efficiency, engaging the youth in sustainable practices for a greener future.
