About the Maharashtra Public University Act, 2016:Enacted to regulate and enhance the functioning of public universities in Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Public University Act, 2016, outlines the framework within which educational institutions operate. Sections 97(1) to 97(5) specifically delineate the establishment and functions of the College Development Committee, emphasizing its importance in the governance and advancement of colleges affiliated with public universities in the state.
Role of the College Development Committee:As mandated by the Act, our CDC is entrusted with a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the overall development and quality enhancement of our college. From formulating comprehensive development plans to recommending academic programs and promoting research culture, the CDC actively contributes to the growth and enrichment of our academic community.
